Simple Mom posted  a 2008 reflections list. I thought I’d join in and publicly share…

1. What was the single best thing that happened this past year? B’s birth

2. What was the single most challenging thing that happened? Moving with a toddler (I seriously thought B would come 6 weeks early)

3. What was an unexpected joy this past year? Being able to move (odd huh?)

4. What was an unexpected obstacle? Dealing with all the illness we’ve had since B’s birth

5. Pick three words to describe 2008. Absolutely insane fun

6. Pick three words your spouse would use to describe your 2008 (don’t ask them; guess based on how you think your spouse sees you). best year  ever (??)

7. Pick three words your spouse would use to describe their 2008 (again, without asking). same

8. What were the best books you read this year? Ina May’s Guide to Childbirth, the bible

9. With whom were your most valuable relationships? Zach, Faye (our doula)

10. What was your biggest personal change from January to December of this past year? Switching to cloth diapers

11. In what way(s) did you grow emotionally? Learned to trust others better

12. In what way(s) did you grow spiritually? Learned to trust God more

13. In what way(s) did you grow physically? Ick, lol

14. In what way(s) did you grow in your relationships with others? See #11

15. What was the most enjoyable area of managing your home? Meal Planning

16. What was your most challenging area of home management? Cleaning (with the kids underfoot)

17. What was your single biggest time waster in your life this past year? Facebook? lol

18. What was the best way you used your time this past year? blogging – used to connect with friends & family

19. What was biggest thing you learned this past year? What my body can do (re: childbirth)
